Lana Del Rey Lust For Life Box Set.

As many of you may know by now, my interests are definitely stuck with the movies and music from the Bygone Era of Classic Hollywood, however, Lana Del Rey is one of my few modern musical exceptions. I’m sure that’s not surprising to anyone who regularly reads my little Blog, as Lana is without doubt inspired by Old Hollywood and seems to be an Old Soul too. If you’re a Lana fan also, then you’re probably aware that with each album she releases, she offers a limited edition collectible box set to purchase from her website. Therefore, with Lust For Life being released in the Summer of 2017, along came the CD Box Set.

I will admit, I did order this as soon as I was aware it had became available and after multiple delays, it finally arrived in December. Yes, the delay was slightly frustrating, but I was kept updated with the changes and I already had the album so was happy to wait. I’m fortunate enough to have the Honeymoon Box Set too, which is no longer available – but if you’re interested I’ve linked that previous post too.

At £39.99, it’s not the cheapest item out there, but if you’re a super Lana fan like myself, it’s most definitely worth adding to your collection. The pieces in the box set are created in the same style as the Honeymoon release and feature a CD album, artworked box, photo album book and thirteen postcards. For some reason the website states you receive four lithograph prints but, as stated previously, that is no longer the case. The quality of all products in the box set is absolutely beautiful and in my opinion, worthy of every penny!

I truly love how each album Lana produces has it’s own aesthetic and different feel and era, she’s an absolute music genius and I adore her. I was extremely fortunate enough to see her live in August last year and she most definitely did not disappoint. Not only is she extremely talented, she’s such a unique presence and has had a huge impact in the world of Music. More importantly, she genuinely seems like a beautiful person inside and out, an artist that cares about her fans.

If I had to choose my three favourite songs on Lust For Life, it would be the following; Tomorrow Never Came, Cherry and White Mustang. I could listen to these three on repeat for many hours and I’m pretty sure I’ve heard them hundreds of times since the release and still, I can’t get enough of them, so thank you Lana!
