Urban Decay Cream Vice Lipstick in 69.

Urban Decay is without doubt one of the hottest Makeup Brands right now, with their Naked Eye Shadow Palettes being the most popular products to brush on your eyelids. However, I’ve not been lucky enough to own one of the iconic trio yet but, I have recently purchased my first ever product of theirs – a Vice Lipstick!

Earlier this a year, a huge Urban Decay shop opened up in my city centre and after admiring it through the windows for weeks, I knew that I simply had to make a purchase. If you’re lucky enough to have one near you, then you’ll know how beautiful the store is, it truly is a makeup lovers dream! Plus, it’s worth buying from the shop to receive a gorgeous Urban Decay purple flowered bag – so pretty!

As a lover of all things vintage and 1950s Blonde Bombshells, red is always my number one choice to wear. Therefore, I knew that the first lipstick I bought had to be my signature colour. So, after procrastinating and swatching what looked like a million different shades, I finally settled on,69” – yes, that is the genuine name.

I should point out that this isn’t the only rude name on the products, so if you’re offended or bothered by crude language, maybe this isn’t the Brand for you. Language aside, the Urban Decay products are absolutely stunning and incredibly high quality, so I’d try not to let the slightly controversial name put you off.

My Vice Lipstick is a beautiful cream finish, which when applied creates an almost three sentimental appearance and looks like a mixture of matte and gloss. The colour is a stunning ruby red and I can honestly say that this is the longest lasting lipstick I’ve ever owned! So many Brands out there state that their products last 24 hours and ultimately, that is sadly pretty unlikely. But out of all the lipsticks I’ve used, this is the only one I could believe would actually last that long.

The packaging is bold, classic and simply stunning,  with the shade of lipstick bring displayed on each box. The container is a beautiful silver and gold with Urban Decay being printed on the case and the initials on the lipstick itself! I love when you can recognize a Brand by the products packaging and this is one that is very memorable! At £15.50, this is in the mid range pricing, but in my opinion you definitely get your moneys worth and it’s worth every penny.

I can definitely say that I will be buying more Urban Decay products in the future and as their Vice Lipsticks most definitely have my approval, I cannot wait to try their Vice Liquid Lipsticks! They have such a variety of colours and like the majority of makeup lovers, I am pretty obsessed with the magical liquid to matte formula.

Do you have any Urban Decay products? If so, which are your favourites?!
